About us

Ludwig Studios is a busy photographic studio in Manchester, run by Murray Ludwig and his wife Janet. It was established in 1930 by his grandfather.

His father Joe was also a respected photographer for over 50 years. 

Murray qualified as a Master Photographer in 1981 and is fully conversant in all aspects of photography and Videography. Janet is also an accomplished photographer and together they can capture the atmosphere of your special day with both photographs and video (DVD).

They have a portrait studio near Manchester City Centre and also have an office near Marbella where they regularly work at weddings and all social functions.

• The ludwigstudiosart.co.uk site was set up in 2009 because we have been asked to restore so many old and damaged photographs and create a variety of different effects from your photographs, for special events.

• We are qualified Master Photographers, meaning that we have to comply to a code of conduct and are regulated by the MPA (Master Photographers Association).
